The Viking Surgeons
The Viking Surgeons grew from a wary exchange between two single handed surgeons who met in the library of Western Isles Hospital, Stornoway. Following this discussion, the first meeting of the Viking Surgeons was planned, taking place in Stornoway in 1974. Watch a 20 minute power point presentation, as David Sedgwick explains how it began, and how it grew over the years. This talk was presented to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeon in May 2021.
